The cloister

Il Chiostro looks inward rather than out onto the street — most mornings the loudest thing you’ll hear is water moving in the stone basin of the cloister below. The desk under the window catches good light until early afternoon, which makes this the room past guests most often ask to work from.

The bathroom keeps its original terrazzo floor, patched rather than replaced during the 2019 restoration.
